Nourishing Minds Fund

Featuring our Emergency Gift Card and Rise & Shine programs

Developed in 2015, by Teresa Quinlin, The Nourishing Minds Fund was created to battle food insecurity on campus. From the creation of this fund, NCSAC has been able to help thousands of students.

Emergency Gift Card Program

The NCSAC Nourishing Minds Fund is available for students who are experiencing food insecurity and are in need of emergency funding while attending Niagara College.

Below are the steps to access this fund:

Step 1

Book an Appointment

Connect with Financial Aid,  an academic advisor, counsellor, or international settlement advisor listed below.

International Settlement Advisors

Step 2

Discuss your needs

During the appointment, you will discuss your needs and situation with the staff member. The staff member will submit the request on your behalf

Step 3

Access your emergency card

If your case meets NCSAC's criteria, you will be issued a Grocery Store Gift Card by email to your Niagara College email account.
